Awesome week!!!

Well we have a week under our belts now.. Lol its been a great week.. We were planning on waiting to send the kids to school till this comming monday but decided it might be better for the kids to take the plunge instead of pushing off the inevitable.. It was a great idea. We registered them on Wednesday and they were allowed to start school already on Thursday.. They had a great day and made a lot of friends.. They are very excited to go back tomorrow.. One of the changes is the time we have to get up at 6:30 to get them ready for school to start at 8 when we were used to getting up at 8 and walking next door by 9.. But i think that this is probably more of an adjustment for the mom then for the kids :) .

 First morning of school..
This week we also got to go to Tiana's basketball game.. That was a fun outing, she has been practising for all of January and this was her first game.. They unfortunately lost but she played very good for a first ever game.. Go Tiana..

Yesterday we took a very long (1 1/2 hr) drive to visit some friends of ours that moved out here last September.. On the drive we got to see these wild mountain goats.. That was pretty awesome..
We were told that if you hit them with your car and kill them you get fined $10,000.00 so i hope that doesnt happen to us..

More of the Goats

When we got to our friends house they had all sorts of animals.. My girls were in heaven.. They loved all the horses, goats and dogs.. Their girls helped our girls drive the horses in the wagon and also ride the horses with saddles.. Here they are with the wagon and pony..

Here was Delilah and her husband, and then 2 of their girls riding the horse..

Then on the way home about a mile before you get to our house we had to stop to let these deer cross the road.. They werent sure which way they wanted to go so they were going back and forth.. But there were prob 10 to 15 deer in the yard and field right here..

Well we had a great first week and are looking forward to the next.. Hope for lots more of greatness. Thinking of you all back home and wishing you could all be here with us.
