So this past weekend we went to the cabin as a family so that Chriss could go hunting. He had told Gracie that he wanted to take her hunting sometime so we took all her clothes along. He went by himself on Monday morning, then came into the cabin by noon.
Then he took Gracie along for the afternoon.
They were headed up the steep hill to get to there tree stand. Its kind of like a tree house. But as they were walking up the hill they spotted a doe. Chriss picked up his gun and shot it. The deer ran about 40 yards and fell down and died. Then they went and got it and brought it back to the cabin. They were gone a total of 2 hours and had a deer. If they would have tried to do that then they could not have. Gracie was a little bummed that she didn't get to make it to the stand but she was really excited that they got a deer when she was with. I thought it was really cool.
